MotoGP title contender Dani Pedrosa, who missed Sunday's Sachsenring race through injury, will be back on track for the US round at Laguna Seca this weekend.
Pedrosa suffered a small fracture in his left collarbone last Saturday in Germany, although it was dizziness and low blood pressure that forced him to miss the race.
But the Repsol Honda star - who has lost the title lead by just two points to rookie team-mate Marc Marquez - is 'feeling better again' and will travel to America on Thursday to allow an additional day of shoulder physiotherapy in Barcelona.
"After a disappointing weekend in Germany, I'm happy to be feeling better again and thankful that my shoulder wasn't completely broken, even if a fracture is still not the best thing to happen!" said Pedrosa.
"Now I need to get back on track to see what condition I'm in and hope we can have a good weekend."
Earlier today reigning MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo, who also missed the German round through injury, confirmed that he will return this weekend.
German GP winner Marquez, Pedrosa and Lorenzo are covered by just eleven points at the top of the standings.
